Character

Name: Ellandra "Ella" Skye
Description: Small (5' 4" (1.63 m)) and slight, Ella has grey eyes and auburn hair. She is quite pretty, though she doesn't see herself as such.
Personality: Ella has a temper and is quick to anger, though just as quickly forgives.

Backstory

Ellandra Skye was born a raised a Technician in the Peacekeepers. Despite Techs having a lesser status within the regime and growing up in hostile territory, Ellandra was a happy-go-lucky sort though she had a little problem with authority.

Bright and intelligent, she was one of the best, which is probably why she got away with her attitude. This attitude caught the attention of one Lieutenent Bialar Crais [pre-series], who recognised a

They struck up an unlikely friendship, that was developing nicely when Ellandra made one enemy too many.

After a vicious physical attack, Ellandra fled the Peacekeepers. Now know simply as Ella, she worked as a prostitute for two cycles on Haldin Station, a spacestation of much ill-repute, waiting for Bialar.

He never came.

Heartbroken, she is rescued from her dire cirmcustances by a trader name Firsnik, who recognises she has better talents and employs her as a Tech. They split profits and Ella uses hers to built a spacecraft - the Demimel - a ship that is quite possibly the best piece of technology in the galaxy.

For the next twelve cycles, Ella was captain of her ship and her own fate. She spent most of that time running Peacekeeper embargoes, delivery medical and other aid to segregated planets. She is in the middle of such a mission when she intercepts the report of Bialar's death.

Knowing that his ship was part-Leviathan, she takes a chance and runs, just in front of a Carrier, to the Leviathan Graveyard. Her guess proves correct and the badly-damaged but still surviving Talyn is there, along with Bialar, who is severely injured.
